Job Description

Classification: Non-Exempt Report To: Mechanical Shop Manager Job Title: Mechanical Technician About Us: Join a team that values skill, teamwork, and growth. At Swift Collision, we are looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician who takes pride in quality repairs and wants to work in a supportive environment. What We Offer
  • Eligible candidate will receive a sign-on bonus
  • Competitive pay: Hourly or flat-rate, whichever is greater
  • Pay range: $28-$35 per hour or equivalent flag rate, depending on experience
  • Opportunity for top performers to earn $70,000-$90,000+ annually

Responsibilities

$28.00-35.00 / hour
What You’ll Do
  • Perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance on mechanical systems
  • Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform quality repairs on brakes, engines, transmissions, HVAC, suspension, electrical, and more
  • Test-drive vehicles and use computerized diagnostic devices
  • Maintain service records and ensure compliance with safety and industry standards
  • Communicate clearly with management about additional repairs or challenges
  • Keep a clean, safe, and organized workspace
  • Stay open to learning new techniques and growing with the team

Qualifications

What We’re Looking For
  • 5 to 10 years of related mechanical experience with a solid work history
  • Strong diagnostic and repair skills across a wide range of vehicle systems
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Team player with a positive attitude
Position Requirements:
  • Pass a background check and drug screen
